A Dual Focus Course:

1. Review, Apply, and Understand how to analyze your scenes with the EDITS System.

Learn how to dig deep and interpret patterns in your scenes. Learn what works, what doesn't work, and what's missing.

DO NOT HAVE DELUSIONS!  You do not have to EDITS highlight every scene you write!

After you've highlighted 50+ pages, you'll have the overlay of the EDITS System highlighting in your mind. When you read and write and edit, you'll realize what scene components you have where.

When you have a scene that is not working, grab your highlighters and you'll see what you need to do differently to strengthen your scene.

2. Receive Scene Analysis Feedback from Margie

Class members may post EDITS System highlighted pages in the assignment forums for scene analysis feedback from Margie. Posting pages is optional. Class members may lurk and learn, or post and learn.

Emphasis is on openings, turning points, endings, and scenes that are making you crazy. Deep editing with the EDITS System honors your voice and makes every scene smooth and empowered. The goal is to strengthen your writing and make your writing career soar.
