Fun and Inspiring!

The Evernote class is fun because it's a cross between creativity and technology as it combines writing with the Evernote app. The class addresses how to use Evernote in a way that fits your own writing style and teaches you how to organize your work. The course also offers a lot of helpful resources for writers. With my writing projects, I've used Word and have ended up with multiple folders, and folders inside folders, which made it difficult to keep track of the progress of my work. Evernote allows you to create Notebooks, and Notes inside of Notebooks, but you also create tags so that you can find information in a search. You can use the stacking feature to organize your work even further. Lisa is a knowledgeable teacher and creates a supportive environment. I felt comfortable asking questions and sharing in the class. Once the class is over, students receive pdfs of the lessons and resources. Evernote is also not as difficult to learn as I've found other writing software programs to be. Its organization made sense to my non-techie brain. I enjoyed the class and found it helpful and inspiring!
