Rhay Christou loves her dogs—Fredo and MoJoe—her teaching and writing. Making her home in a small village in Cyprus, when she is not wandering the National Park's trails, she uses her MFA in writing from Vermont College to share her knowledge and experience to cheerlead writers in creating their best stories. Since graduating, she has taught everything from creative writing to academic writing at the university level and writing workshops on the lovely island of Cyprus, in Greece and the USA.
I worked with Rhay on a book within a revision mentorship capacity last year, and she gave me some wonderful tips that took my manuscript to another level. My book was tough in that I mixed genres—dysopian, thriller and mystery— and I had been grappling with finding the balance in pace and tone. Thankfully, Rhay is practical, patient, and hardworking, and she knows her stuff. She also guided voice. I learned so much that I will be joining in again as a refresher. Since then, I've published my book as an indie author, and it's received consistent 4 star reviews from readers on GoodReads and Amazon. So, yes, I highly recommend Rhay's mentorship!
