Margie looks at writing in a completely fresh way. She has changed my writing and helped me improve it much faster than any other class I've taken.
I learned about Margie through Australian author Dorothy Adamek, who had attended a Margie immersion and found the experience so valuable that she hosted her own immersion course, which was absolutely brilliant - and which I credit with winning an ACFW Genesis Award, and helping an author client win a RITA.
This course is one of Margie's "Big Three" and is a pre-requisite to attending an immersion. I did the course as a self-learning lecture packet, which suited me as I was working full-time at the time, and wouldn't have been able to properly participate in the class. The lecture packet has all the same information and learning as the class - the only thing it is missing is the opportunity to get personal feedback from classmates and Margie. It's a great option, and I learned so much! Thanks, Margie 🙂
A fellow writer told me about Margie, said I should check out LWA. She was right. Since then, I've worked through this lecture pack (excellent) and done the four week body language course (where I learnt lots) and a couple of the webinar download courses. Later in the year, when school holidays are over and time and funds are in better supply, I'll be purchasing more.
A friend put me on to Margie's classes several years ago and I have never looked back. I have done classes and bought several lecture packs including this one. THey helped my writing improve immensely. So grateful for discovering this.
Randy Ingermanson recommended her works to our writing critique group years ago. I loved Margie's tips. It was a new approach for me and very helpful in my writing. Her techniques helped me to see areas of my writing that were missing something. I just purchased another packet.
