Vannetta Chapman received “The Call” from Abingdon Press in December of 2009. Two months later, she had signed a contract for “A Simple Amish Christmas” with Abingdon and another three book contract for Amish cozies with Zondervan Press. When her debut released in the fall of 2010, it quickly became a CBD bestseller, and by 2011 she had signed another 3 book contract with Harvest House.
Chapman began her writing career by publishing more than 100 articles in Christian family magazines. She discovered her love for the Amish while researching her grandfather’s birthplace in Albion, Pennsylvania. Vannetta is a multi-award-winning member of Romance Writers of America.
